When we were dissecting owl pellets I noticed there were bunch of hairs and bones inside the pellets. When we started to separate the bones and the hairs into two piles. After that we started putting the bones into a diagram. We were done we learned that some of the bones were missing because sometimes they were crushed into little pieces. I learned that owl and other birds have to regurgitate in order to eat again. Another interesting fact I learned is that owl regurgitate 1 time every day. Other than that I learned that owl pellets are ecosystems because they create hiding spots and food for moths and beetles. This is what I learned about owl pellets
